In Danat Al Emarat Hospital, we know that our young patients have special needs. Our pediatric departments use this understanding to provide care that is individualized and age-specific to each patient we treat. The family is included as an integral component of any treatment program.
Our team of expert western-trained Consultants and Specialists provide extraordinary general and advanced care for a wide range of conditions including allergy and infectious diseases, obesity and nutrition, kidney problems, rheumatology and heart scanning. These services offer children a foundation for a lifetime of good health.
In 2018, a clinical partnership was signed with The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) to support pediatric services including the subspecialties including pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric neurology and pediatric pulmonology.
From routine illnesses to complex diseases, our pediatricians treat a wide range of conditions to help your child feel better. Commonly treated conditions include:
- Regular health assessment and wellness visits including well child/infant appointments
- Monitoring growth and development of children with the access of full team of therapist
- Colds and flu
- Childhood diseases
- Infections
- Eczema and other common skin disorders. Abdominal pain and other gastro-intestinal problems like diarrhea, vomiting, constipation and acid reflux
- Chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes (type 1, prediabetes, type 2) and high blood pressure
