Education

Dr. Al Hadhrami has extensive experience in pediatrics, with specialized training in developmental and behavioral pediatrics and pediatric neurology. Her clinical practice focuses on the assessment and management of children with neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and neurological conditions, with particular expertise in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental delays, cerebral palsy, tic and Tourette disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep difficulties, and behavioral challenges.

She completed a Fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics at the University of Calgary, Canada, following her Arab Board Certification in Pediatrics in 2022 and MBBS from United Arab Emirates University in 2016. She is also certified in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), supporting structured assessment of children with suspected autism.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Al Hadhrami has contributed to research and academic activities in developmental and behavioral pediatrics and pediatric neurology. Her professional experience includes multidisciplinary assessment, early intervention planning, pharmacological management of ASD-related symptoms, ADHD and anxiety, and the management of neuromotor conditions, including cerebral palsy.

Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, she worked at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) as a Specialist in Pediatric Neurology and General Pediatrics, following her pediatric residency training. This experience has strengthened her ability to provide comprehensive care across both general pediatric and specialized neurodevelopmental settings.

Dr. Al Hadhrami’s scope of practice includes developmental and behavioral assessments; autism spectrum disorder and ADHD; developmental delays; behavioral disorders; anxiety and OCD; tic and Tourette disorders; sleep difficulties; cerebral palsy and other neuromotor conditions; genetic syndromes; early intervention; and multidisciplinary management of children with complex neurodevelopmental needs.
