Education

Dr Cingapagu obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Osmania Medical College, India. He then completed his Master of Surgery in General Surgery (MS) at NTR University of Health Sciences, India, followed by his Magister Chirurgiae in Pediatric Surgery (MCh) at NTR University of Health Sciences, India. Dr Cingapagu further enhanced his surgical expertise through his role as a Surgical Registrar and Fellow in Laparoscopic Surgery at the Women and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide, Australia. He also completed a Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Strasbourg, France.

Dr Cingapagu is a qualified member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the International Pediatric Endo-Surgery Group, the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, the UAE Pediatric Surgery Society, and the Societies of Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgery, Pediatric Urology, and Pediatric Urodynamic Study. Prior to joining M42, Dr Cingapagu worked as a Specialist Pediatric Surgeon at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi.

Dr Cingapagu provides care in neonatal surgery, pediatric urology, advanced pediatric laparoscopic surgery, pediatric general surgery, and pediatric thoracic surgery.

Dr Cingapagu’s expertise includes pediatric urology procedures such as laparoscopy, cystoscopy, hernia repair, undescended testis, hydronephrosis, vesicoureteral reflux, and circumcision. He also manages neonatal surgical conditions including esophageal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, intestinal atresia, anorectal malformations, congenital airway malformations, and renal anomalies such as hydronephrosis and posterior urethral valves. His pediatric general surgery practice covers advanced laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal conditions. He is skilled in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, including management of biliary atresia, choledochal cysts, and pancreatic cysts, as well as onco-surgery, including tumor excisions, Porta-cath placement, and tunneled central line insertions.
