Education

Dr. Quraishi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Aga Khan University, Pakistan, in 2009. She completed her internship in 2010 also at the Aga Khan University Hospital. She then went on to do her pediatric residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, USA which she completed in 2016. During her training, she was involved in the institution’s quality improvement project aimed at improving pain management of sickle cell patients presenting to the emergency department.

Dr. Quraishi has been a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics since 2016. She has worked with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in their community emergency room at St. Mary’s Hospital in Pennsylvania, USA. Since 2017, she has worked as a primary care pediatrician in a private practice in Central New Jersey, USA (2017-2021) and with Duly Health and Care in Chicago, Illinois (2021-2023).

Experience

Dr. Quraishi has 11 years of experience in Pediatrics. Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Quraishi worked as a Pediatric Consultant at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Quraishi’s scope of practice includes early childhood development, health maintenance and surveillance, screening for common pediatric neurodevelopmental problems such as autism and ADHD, obesity and malnutrition, asthma management.

Field of Expertise

Newborn care, routine well visits, immunizations, management of ADHD, common dermatology problems such as acne, adolescent care, childhood nutrition and malnutrition, anemia, constipation.
