Dr Ali graduated from Riphah International University, Pakistan in 2009 obtaining his MBBS degree. Dr Ali had his training in Pediatrics and Neonatology from 2013 to 2019 at Health Education England (HEE), Yorkshire. Upon completion of his training, he was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Pediatrics in 2019, with a sub-specialty recognition in Neonatal Medicine in 2022.
Dr Ali completed further training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at McMaster Children’s Hospital, Canada from 2019 to 2020. He has also been awarded as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2020 and obtained the Specialist Certificate in Pediatrics, and Subspecialty Certificate in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2020.
Dr Ali is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health UK since 2015, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health UK since 2019. He is also a Diplomate in Child Health of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland since 2012, and a Licentiate and Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland since 2013.
Dr Ali has more than 10 years of experience in Pediatrics (Neonatology). He is joining us from the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, United Kingdom, where he was a Consultant in the Department of Neonatal Intensive Care. Dr Ali holds training certificates in Neonatology from both the United Kingdom and Canada.
In his new role at Danat Al Emarat, Dr Ali will be working as a Consultant Neonatologist.
Dr Ali has a special interest in neonatal cardiology and he completed the RCPCH Special Interest Module (SPIN) in Pediatric Cardiology from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health UK from 2018 to 2019. He also holds the degree of Master of Science (Child Health) with Merit from the University of Leeds, UK.
