Dr. Mohammed Hamouda obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2002. Following his graduation, Dr Hamouda underwent a specialty training program in Pediatrics and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Pediatrics from Cairo University, Egypt in 2007. Dr. Hamouda then moved to the United Kingdom to pursue further specialty training in Pediatrics at the NHS, England. He worked across various prestigious teaching hospitals in the UK including Bradford Royal Infirmary, Pinderfields Hospital, Dewsbury Hospital, Leeds General Infirmary, Pontefract General Infirmary, Calderdale Royal Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Hamouda was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatrics.
Dr. Hamouda has been a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK, since 2013, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK, since 2020. Additionally, he was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health at The University of Leeds in 2018.
Dr. Mohammed Hamouda has over 15 years of experience in Pediatrics.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Hamouda was working as a Consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Halifax,United Kingdom.
In his new role at Danat Al Emarat Hospital, Dr. Hamouda will be working as a Consultant in Pediatrics with a special interest in Neonatology.
Dr. Hamouda’s scope of practice covers the management of all pediatric, neonatal, and High Dependency Unit (HDU) medical problems and a complete neonatal follow up including growth and developmental assessment.
