Education

Dr. Gharaibeh has 29 years of medical experience and 21 years of specialist experience in Pediatrics.

Dr. Gharaibeh obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Mosul, Mosul, Iraq, in 1997. He completed his pediatric residency training at Ministry of Health hospitals in Jordan from 2000 to 2004 and obtained the Jordan Board in Pediatrics from the Jordan Medical Council in 2005.

Dr. Gharaibeh has extensive experience in General Pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine, and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. His clinical experience includes the management of pediatric emergencies such as diabetic ketoacidosis, asthma exacerbations, seizures, gastroenteritis, dehydration, and sickle cell crises, as well as infections, developmental and feeding concerns, childhood obesity, and routine well-childcare and immunizations. He also has 10 years of experience managing children with childhood cancers and hematological disorders, including chemotherapy treatment, bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, lumbar punctures, intrathecal chemotherapy administration and the management of treatment-related complications.

Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Gharaibeh worked as a Specialist in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Dr. Gharaibeh’s scope of practice includes general pediatric care, pediatric emergency care, management of pediatric infections and respiratory conditions, neonatal and newborn care, well-child assessments and immunizations, developmental and feeding concerns, pediatric hematological disorders and pediatric oncology care.
