Dr. Ebrahim graduated and obtained his MBBCh BAO degree from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Bahrain in 2014 and had his training in Paediatric and Adult – Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center, New York, USA from 2020 till 2022. Following his training, he was certified Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Prior to this, Dr. Ebrahim had his training in Pediatrics at The Brooklyn Hospital Center from 2017 till 2020 and was then certified Diplomate of the American Board-Certified Pediatrics.
Dr. Ebrahim has almost 3 years of experience in Allergy and Immunology. He is joining us from Bahrain Specialist Hospital, Bahrain, where he was a Consultant in Allergy and Immunology since Jan 2023.
In his new role at Danat Al Emarat Hospital, Dr Ebrahim will be working as a Consultant Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Ebrahim’s scope of practice covers diagnosing and treating children and adult patients with environmental allergies, allergic skin diseases, food allergies and gastrointestinal eosinophilic disorders, asthma and other allergic respiratory diseases, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and allergic eye disease, drug and vaccine allergies, Primary Immune Deficiency, recurrent infections, recurrent fevers, and autoinflammatory disorders, and immune dysregulation and early onset rheumatological disorders. His practice also covers performing skin prick testing, intradermal skin testing and patch testing, conducting allergen challenges and desensitization, providing allergen Immunotherapy including subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT), sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT), and oral immunotherapy (OIT), diagnosis and management of patients with complex immune genetic disorders, diagnosing and treating patients with Hypereosinophilia and Mast cell disorders. His scope also includes general pediatric care, treating and diagnosing infants and children, providing preventive and supportive care, and monitoring growth and development.
