Dr. Heba has more than 10 years of medical experience.
Dr. Heba obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) from Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2012. She then underwent an internship at Alexandria University Hospitals from 2013 till 2014. Dr Heba passed first part of master’s degree in Paediatrics and Neonatology in Cairo University, Egypt.
Dr. Heba managed common pediatric disorders and pediatric emergencies including asthma – dehydration – convulsion. She also assisted many successful births and provided Neonatal resuscitation (term and preterm).
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Heba worked as a General Practitioner (Paediatrics and Neonatology) at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, UAE.
Dr. Heba’s scope of practice includes General pediatrics, Emergency pediatrics, NICU and PICU.
Airway care including simple adjuncts and Endotracheal Intubation, Umbilical catheter insertion, ECG (conducting and interpreting), Otoscopy, Blood cultures, Venepuncture, IV cannulation, Arterial blood sampling, Wound suturing, Nasogastric intubation, Bladder catheterization (male and female), IM, IV, SC injections and IV infusions.
Management of common pediatric emergencies including asthma – dehydration – convulsions Neonatal resuscitation (term and preterm).
