Dr. Eldohemy holds a Masters in Pediatrics from Ain Shams University Cairo.
Her clinical foundation was established through a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) from Taibah University, Saudi Arabia. Building on this qualification, she completed her Pediatric Neurology training at King Fahad Medical City, Saudi Arabia.
To further strengthen her expertise, Dr. Kalu completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at King’s College Hospital, London, UK, where she gained advanced expertise in neurophysiological diagnostic techniques and neurological disorders in children.
Dr. Kalu has 15 years of medical experience in Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Kalu was appointed as the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Program Director at King Fahad Medical City in 2024, recognizing her clinical excellence and leadership. In this role and throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of pediatric neurological disorders and has a special interest in neurodevelopmental and neuromuscular conditions.
Her advanced proficiency in neurophysiological assessments further enables her to provide comprehensive neurological care for children.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat Hospital, Dr. Kalu worked as a Specialist Pediatric Neurologist at Kids Neuro Clinic and Rehab Center and Neuropedia Children’s Neuroscience Center, Dubai, UAE.
In her current practice, Dr. Kalu’s scope of practice includes the diagnosis and management of developmental delay, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children.
Her field of expertise encompasses Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, including electroencephalography (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), repetitive nerve stimulation (RNS), and evoked potentials.
