Dr. Alsayed Tohamy obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2001. Subsequently, he successfully completed a Master of Science in Pediatrics with distinction at Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2009.
Dr. Al Sayed has more than 20 years of experience in Pediatrics. Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Al Sayed worked at Abu Dhabi Health Services – SEHA – Al Dhafra Hospitals, UAE, as a specialist pediatrician and worked in many reputable medical institutions across the UAE, KSA, and Egypt.
Dr. Al Sayed’s scope of practice covers pediatric and neonatal intensive treatment, pediatric procedures, mechanical ventilation, and multi-organ failure management. He’s experienced in diagnosis and management of pediatric emergencies, endotracheal intubation, intravenous cannulation, surfactant administration, nasogastric intubation, urethral catheterization, neonatal UVC and UAC insertion, lumbar puncture, pediatric and neonatal critical care.
