Dr Shabana Gul Naz brings almost 25 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner and three years of teaching experience to nurses & surgical technicians.
Dr Shabana earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from University of the Punjab, Fatima Jinnah Medical college, Pakistan in 1996. Following her graduation, she had her rotating training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital, Pakistan from 1996 till 1999.
Additionally, she had her 2 years postgraduate diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore Pakistan, 700 bedded teaching hospital,its gyne obs department is recognized for FCPS, MCPS, MRCOG, MS & DGO training, with 25,000 opd turnout/anum (affiliated with Sheikh Zayed Postgraduate Institute Lahore Pakistan) from 2010 till 2012.
Aside from clinical practice, Dr Shabana has been employed as Nursing & OR instructor at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for three (3) years. Dr Shabana is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services with special interest in Obstetrics & gynecology. She offers personalized care and support to address a wide range of obstetric and gynecological concerns. She ensures to follow safe practices at all times & participates in continuous education activities.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr Shabana worked both in Pakistan and in UAE. In Pakistan, she was employed at a teaching hospital of University of Lahore performing independent vaginal deliveries & caesarean sections. In UAE, it started with clinical attachment in top hospitals of Dubai - Latifa hospital, Rashid hospital & Dubai hospital, with learning experience of latest international standards & local guidelines. She is joining us from Algebra Polyclinic, Dubai.
Dr Shabana’s scope of practice includes abnormal vaginal bleeding , Menstrual disorders , Pelvic pain, Polycystic ovarian syndrome, Problems associated with early pregnancy, Bleeding during pregnancy, Ectopic pregnancy, Cholestasis of pregnancy, Gestational diabetes , HPV infection , Multiple gestation , Premature birth, Preterm labor , Rupture of membranes , High blood pressure in pregnancy , Placental abruption, Placenta previa, Care of pregnancy after cesarean section , Vaginal discharge ,Postpartum hemorrhage.
