Dr. Hussein obtained his Master of Science (MSc) in General Surgery and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) from Glasgow in 2011.
Dr. Hussein has 15 years of experience as a Specialist General Surgeon at Mediclinic Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is also a Laven Clinic Group Certified Surgeon. He focuses on advanced proctology and complex anal conditions, with a particular interest in laser-based and minimally invasive treatments designed to reduce pain and support faster recovery.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Hussein worked as a Specialist General Surgeon at Mediclinic Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. Hussein’s scope of practice includes hemorrhoids, anal fistula, anal fissure, pilonidal cyst, genital warts, anal incontinence, anal bleeding, anal abscess, moles, skin lumps and bumps, rectovaginal fistula, and anal skin tags.
