Dr. Eltahir obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, in 2002. She worked in many leading medical organizations in Sudan and the UAE, specifically at Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi, Garhoud Hospital in Dubai, and Kanad Hospital in Al Ain.
Since 2018, Dr. Eltahir has been a Licentiate and Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2019.
Dr. Eltahir has over 14 years of medical experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Eltahir worked as an OB/GYN Specialist at Kanad Hospital (formerly known as Oasis Hospital) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. Eltahir’s scope of practice includes high-risk pregnancies, medical disorders in pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal care, normal, instrumental, and cesarean section deliveries, gynecological management, cosmetic gynecology, surgical operative and perioperative care, basic hysteroscopy, basic colposcopy, basic infertility, ultrasound scanning, and more.
