Dr. Sen obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Calcutta, India in 1995. She moved to the United Kingdom and underwent specialty training program in Obstetrics & Gynecology at NHS England working across various hospitals in the North East from 2000 till 2008. Upon completion of her training, Dr. Sen was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr. Sen has 25 years of specialist experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Dr. Sen has been a Member of the Royal Colleges of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) since 2002.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Sen worked as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom.
Dr. Sen’s scope of practice includes General Obstetrics and Antenatal care including Diabetes in pregnancy; Maternal Medicine problems; General gynaecology including Menstrual disorders, Pelvic pain, Menopause; Adolescent and Paediatric Gynaecology; and Cervical smears/Colposcopy.
Dr Sen has expertise in a wide area of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is happy to offer specialist care for Medical problems in pregnancy and High risk pregnancy. She has expertise in dealing with Menopause related problems, Menstrual disorders and Gynaecological problems in children & adolescents.
