Biography
Dr. Sara Ali Assaf is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with extensive experience in women’s health and reproductive medicine.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Arabic Literature from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon. Dr. Assaf then completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), graduating in June 2021.
Following her training, Dr. Assaf practiced as a Hospitalist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Clemenceau Medical Center, Dubai from 2022 to 2023. She also served as a part-time consultant for the WISH program at AUBMC. Most recently, she has been working as an Honorary Sonographer at the Fetal Medicine Department, Harris Birth Center, King’s College, London since April 2023.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Assaf has participated in multiple Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) congresses across Europe and obtained advanced training in first trimester ultrasound screening, vNOTES, and obstetric imaging. She has also been active in awareness campaigns, medical education workshops, and international research collaborations on maternal and fetal outcomes.
Her scope of expertise includes high-risk obstetrics, fetal medicine, gynecological ultrasound, minimally invasive gynecology (including vNOTES), management of menstrual disorders, and preventive women’s health care.
