Dr. Saira Aatif qualified from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (2012) upon completion of her 4 years of training at King Edward Medical University & Allied Hospitals, Lahore, Pakistan. She earned her medical degree from Punjab University, Lahore Pakistan in 2003.
Dr. Saira Aatif has more than 15 years of experience in obstetrics & gynaecology. She is joining us from Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, where she worked as Specialist Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her new role at Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Saira Aatif will be working as a Specialist Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Saira Aatif’s scope of practice includes providing antenatal and postpartum care of pregnancies including normal vaginal and instrumental deliveries, caesarean section and contraception, diagnosis and management of general gynaecology problems including heavy periods, menstrual disorders, menopausal problems, early pregnancy problems, recurrent miscarriages, and pelvic pain. She has skill and experience in high-risk obstetrics and provides women-centered care.
Dr. Saira Aatif is highly skilled in independently managing major and minor obstetrics and gynecological procedures, cervical cancer screening, and management of infertility. Dr. Aatif has been well-recognized for her work at the hospitals wherever she worked. She has presented various papers and attended workshops as part of the self-development of technical knowledge and skills.
