Dr. Abdelhaleem has 19 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology across Egypt and the UAE. Her clinical practice focuses on high-risk pregnancy management, complex obstetric care, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, endometriosis, and obstetric and gynecological ultrasound. She also has extensive experience in quality improvement, patient safety, healthcare accreditation, and clinical education.
Dr. Abdelhaleem holds a master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from Kasr El-Aini, Cairo University. She also holds the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and has completed additional training in colposcopy, lower genital tract disease management, advanced ultrasound, obstetric trauma repair, and telemedicine medical training.
Throughout her career, Dr. Abdelhaleem has contributed to clinical quality and patient safety initiatives, including the WHO Positive Postnatal Experience accreditation project, fetal growth monitoring, postpartum hemorrhage management, and clinical documentation improvement. She has also contributed to research presented at international conferences, including RSNA and ISUOG, and published research in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Abdelhaleem worked at Corniche Hospital, Al Rahba Hospital, and Zulekha Hospital in the UAE, as well as El-Maadi Military Hospital and Tabarak Hospital for Maternity Care in Egypt.
Dr. Abdelhaleem’s scope of practice includes high-risk pregnancy management, VBAC, preterm labor prevention, complex cesarean sections, obstetric and gynecological ultrasound, endometriosis, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, urogynecology, colposcopy and lower genital tract disease management, hysteroscopy, vaginal repair, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures.
