Dr. Elshaikh obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Benha University, Egypt. She went on to complete her master's degree (MSc) in Dermatology and Andrology at the same institution. Dr. Elshaikh holds a Mediacal Degree MD in Dermatology and is a Member of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate (EMS), Emirates Dermatology Society (EDS), and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).
Dr. Elshaikh has more than fifteen years of medical experience in Dermatology.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat Hospital, Dr. Elshaikh worked as a Specialist – Dermatologist at Burjeel Medical City, UAE.
Dr. Elshaikh’s scope of practice includes Cosmetic Dermatology and General Dermatology. Her cosmetic dermatology services encompass injectables such as Botox, fillers, and skin boosters, as well as thread lifting, chemical and cold peels, mesotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), advanced laser treatments, and radiofrequency microneedling. In general dermatology, her focus includes the treatment of skin, hair, and nail disorders across all ages, dermatologic procedures and surgeries including biopsies, excisions, electrocautery, and cryotherapy, skin cancer screening and preventive dermatology, as well as advanced biologic and phototherapy applications.
Dr. Elshaikh’s field of expertise includes a comprehensive range of cosmetic and general dermatological treatments. She specializes in advanced cosmetic procedures including injectables, mesotherapy, PRP, laser treatments, and thread lifting. Additionally, her expertise covers the management of chronic skin conditions, dermatologic surgeries, and skin cancer prevention and treatment.
