Dr. Avelina Isabelle Mario completed her basic surgical training at University Hospital Hope Hospital, Manchester, UK (1998–2001), rotating through Upper Gastrointestinal, Orthopaedic, Colorectal, Cardiothoracic, and Breast Surgery. She then specialized in Plastic Surgery, serving as Registrar and Fellow at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and St Andrews Centre, Broomfield Hospital, UK, focusing on reconstructive, aesthetic, and burn surgery. Dr. Mario has completed fellowships in aesthetic surgery and hand surgery, with extensive research and clinical experience in transplant surgery at Cambridge. She has also held academic positions, including Anatomy Tutor at Trinity College, Cambridge.

Dr. Mario has over 20 years of experience in Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, and Burn Surgery. She served as Senior Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Medcare Hospital and American Hospital Dubai, specializing in microsurgery, burns, trauma, breast surgery, and aesthetic procedures. Previously, she worked as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Dr. Suleiman Al Habib Hospital in Riyadh and held leadership roles including Clinical Director of House of ARP, Berlin, and Deputy Chief of Plastic Surgery at Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann, Germany. Her surgical expertise includes complex microsurgery, breast reconstruction, hand surgery, and cosmetic procedures such as facial fat grafting and body contouring.
