Dr. Amin Hassan Abdelmagied completed his bachelor’s from the University of Gezira in 1995 with Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery and trained in Obstetrics & Gynecology in the University of Khartoum in Sudan. He completed his Advanced Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopic Surgery training in 2004, his UK National Training in Obstetrics & Gynecology under the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists in London in 2006 leading to the CCST.
With over 28 years of experience, Dr. Amin Hassan Abdelmagied has been a specialist trainee in Sudan and multiple renowned UK hospital such as Royal Maternity Hospital- Belfast, Royal Sussex Hospital & Gynecological Cancer Center – Brighton, North Middlesex University Hospital and Barnet & Chasefarm Hospitals in London. In 2007 he was appointed as Consultant Gynecologist & Obstetrician and Lead Advanced Minimal Access Surgeon at the Royal Gwent Hospital – Newport, UK where he developed excellence teams that provided Advanced Minimal Access Procedures as well as Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain services.
In 2015 he moved to UAE to join opening the brand new Danat Al Emarat Hospital by establishing & leading the Gynaecology services particularly advanced laparoscopic surgery, Endometriosis as well as supporting complex Obstetrics Services. Danat Al Emarat has become the Centre of Excellence in Hysteroscopic & Advanced Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgery in Abu Dhabi with Accreditation from the SRC as the Centre of Excellence in MIS & Endometriosis.
