Who Can Participate
Anyone aged 19 and under can enter whether you’re an experienced designer, a hobbyist, or simply love being creative! Take part in the mascot competition and get a chance to make your design the official face of Danat Al Emarat Hospital.
Design Guidelines
- Theme: Inspired by the Pearl symbolizing care, protection and well-being.
- Style: Friendly, approachable and suitable for a healthcare environment.
- Medium: Any medium allowed – hand drawing, digital illustration, AI-generated, or mixed media.
- File Format: High-quality JPEG, PNG, or PDF (minimum 300 dpi).
- Size: A4 or larger recommended for clarity.
- Originality: Designs must be original. AI-generated designs are allowed, but they must be unique and not copied from pre-made sources.
- Deadline: September 30, 2025
Judging Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated based on:
- Creativity & Originality – Unique concept and artistic style.
- Relevance to Theme – Clear connection to the pearl and hospital values.
- Visual Appeal – Memorable, clear and eye-catching design.
- Suitability for Branding – Works well for hospital events, print and digital media.
Prizes
- Winner: Mascot becomes the official hospital mascot + AED 5,000 voucher
- Runner-up: Certificate of Recognition
Terms & Conditions
- By submitting, participants grant Danat Al Emarat Hospital the rights to use, reproduce, and modify the mascot design for branding and promotional purposes.
- The hospital reserves the right to make minor modifications to the winning design for branding consistency.
- All decisions by the judging panel are final.
