As part of our commitment to being a “Baby Friendly” Hospital, the majority of our nurses are trained to provide lactation support. We also have an onsite Lactation Clinic dedicated to offering specialised care for breastfeeding and infant feeding challenges. Our highly qualified team of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants provide valuable information, support, and guidance to help ensure a successful breastfeeding experience.
We recommend meeting with one of our Lactation Consultants during your pregnancy to be well-prepared before giving birth. They will also be available to support you during your hospital stay. During consultations, our breastfeeding specialists will work with you and your baby to create a personalised feeding plan tailored to your needs.
Additionally, you can participate in our regular Antenatal Classes and join Danat Al Emarat’s monthly Breastfeeding Support Group.
