We carry out hysteroscopy procedures to examine the cervix and uterus of women and detect the underlying cause of any reproductive problems.
Hysteroscopy is a procedure in which a tetescope is inserted into the vagina. Hysteroscope is thin tube-like equipment that has a light on its end to illuminate the area under examination. The equipment facilitates easy evaluation of the cervix and uterus.
Our doctors may suggest hysteroscopy to diagnose reproductive disorders in women. This procedure may be recommended as diagnostic procedure by the doctors to confirm other test results or to detect malformation of uterus; or therapeutic to facilitate in removal of polyps, fibroids or uterine lesions. Hysteroscopy may also be needed to find the cause of infertility, before a couple under IVF or infertility treatments by our IVF experts at our sister-facility, HealthPlus Fertility.
