Education
Dr. Zahid graduated and obtained her MBBS Degree from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan in 2006. Following her graduation, she had her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Health Education England, United Kingdom working across various hospitals such as Heartlands Hospital, City Hospital, Russells Hall Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, and Sandwell General Hospital from 2011 till 2019. Upon completion of her training, Dr. Zahid was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
Dr. Zahid completed both the Advanced Training Skills Module in Advanced Labor Ward Practice and Advanced Training Skills Module in Advanced Antenatal Practice in 2019. She was awarded her Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2011 and Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2015.
Experience
Dr. Zahid has more than 10 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is joining us from Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, United Kingdom, where she was a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology since October 2019. In her new role at Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Zahid will be working as Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Zahid’s scope of practice covers diabetes in pregnancy, hypertensive disorders, hematological disorders and complicated birth, advanced labor ward practice, and managing menstrual disorder, recurrent miscarriages, sub-fertility, advanced pregnancy ultrasound scan, complex & high-risk pregnancy including maternal infection disease, and early pregnancy complications.
