Education
Dr. Manahil earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2006. This was followed by a rotating internship in Sudan from 2007 to 2008. She then completed her residency in Saudi Arabia, from 2011 to 2015.
Dr. Manahil has been a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCPUK) since 2017.
Experience
Dr. Manahil has almost 17 years of experience in Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Manahil worked in Al Rahba Hospital (SEHA), UAE.
Dr. Alawad’s scope of practice includes acute medicine, emergency care, inpatient and outpatient care. She is also equipped with skills to be able to work in the ICU. Her training involved experience in cardiology, neurology, nephrology.
Field of Expertise
Management and diagnosis of acute and chronic diseases; diabetes, hypertension, asthma, thyroid disease, anemia. Pregnancy related medical conditions, treatment of infectious diseases and gastrointestinal disorders.
