Dr. Jilani graduated from University of Punjab, Pakistan, in 2001 obtaining her MBBS degree. Following her graduation, Dr. Jilani had her specialty training in the Obstetrics & Gynecology from 2011 to 2016 at Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW), UK. Upon completion of her training, she was awarded Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kiran has also been awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Gynecological Ultrasound (Merit) from Cardiff University in 2017.
Dr. Jilani is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists since 2010. She also had successfully completed the Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM) Certificate in Advanced Labor Ward Practice, Labor Ward Lead, and Maternal Medicine from Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in UK.
Dr. Jilani received 3 Clinical Excellence Awards in the last 6 years and a nomination for trainer of the year from the North west region of England.
Dr. Jilani has more than 12 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is joining us from Liverpool Women’s Hospital, United Kingdom, where she was a Consultant Obstetrician, and the lead for maternity triage and acute maternal medicine. In her new role at Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Jilani will be working as a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Her scope of practice includes high risk obstetrics, maternal medicine and neurology, perinatal mental health, obstetric level 1 and level 2 ultrasound, complex cesarean sections, and operative vaginal birth.
