Surgical Oncology

If you have been diagnosed with tumor or cancer that needs to be surgically removed, you would be referred to our oncology surgeons at Danat Al Emarat, in partnership with Dubai-based Al Zahra Private Hospital. Following a patient-centric approach, our surgeons will perform the surgery using minimally invasive techniques and in support with our plastic surgeons as well.
Our clinicians in the Breast Imaging Center are trained to diagnose cancer and tumors with biopsy and other methods, and would refer the patient in case of confirmed tumors to our breast surgeons.
Depending on the type, size, grade and location of the tumor, our surgeons follow the most suitable surgical method. Our operating rooms are equipped with advanced technologies, and are staffed by highly qualified nurses, anesthesiologists and technicians. Patients with confirmed malignant tumors will be referred to other specialized oncology centers in UAE, where our surgeons will work with them closely in following up our patient’s condition.
