Danat Al Emarat Hospital welcomes 6 Newborns during Arafat Day and 2 Newborns during the first few hours of Eid Al Adha

Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi welcomed 6 newborns on Arafat Day – 2 girls and 4 boys; and have welcomed 2 newborns during the first few hours of Eid Al Adha.

The first baby at Danat Al Emarat Hospital was born at 4:29 am, few minutes before Fajer prayers of first day of Eid Al Adha for the family of Mr. Kamal Abdul Hamid Sayyah, Syrian. The father, 35 years old, said, “my wife due date was on 10 August, but with Allah’s will she delivered today 11 August and here we are now celebrating the birth of our fifth child, at 4:29 am of the first day of Eid Al Adha. We have not yet decided on her name. She weighed 3.3 Kg. Our baby and my wife are in good health thanks to Allah. Her two sisters and two brothers have been waiting for her, and our celebration today is doubled with her birth and Eid. Thanks to Danat Al Emarat team for the care they have been providing my wife and both children; wishing everyone Eid Mubarak.”

The second baby on Eid day at Danat Al Emarat Hospital was born at 4:44 am for the family of Mr. Omar Yarat and Mrs. Khulood Al Badri. The father said, “We have named him Yousef. He weighs 3.1 KG and is in good health thanks to Allah. Having him born today has doubled our joy as we all celebrate the first day of Eid Al Adha. The baby and his mother are in good health. We were expecting him in 7 days, but with Allah’s will he has joined our Eid celebrations today before Eid prayers. From here, we would like to thank Danat Al Emarat for their advanced and constant care they provide our family.”

Mariano Gonzalez, CEO of Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children, part of United Eastern Medical Services (UEMedical) said, “Including our Eid babies born at the hospital during the early hours of Eid, a total of 14,040 babies have been born at our hospital since our first baby born on 28 October 2015, of which over 7300 were Emiratis. Amongst the total number of births, we had 7316 boys and 6724 girls. All these precious bundles of joy were managed by our team of over 200 obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, midwives and nurses. We expect to welcome another 5 babies by end of today.”

The hospital distributed flowers and gifts for all patients and children who are spending Eid Al Adha at the hospital.
