Danat Al Emarat, welcomed its first batch of patients today. The opening date was especially chosen to coincide with the 49th anniversary of the late President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s ascension to power.

Abu Dhabi, 6 August 2015: Danat Al Emarat (DAE), the first private purpose-built women and children’s hospital in Abu Dhabi, welcomed its first batch of patients today. The opening date was especially chosen to coincide with the 49^th anniversary of the late President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s ascension to power – a day considered by many to be the birth of modern UAE.

Owned by United Eastern Medical Services (UEMedical), the leading privately owned Healthcare Development & Investment Company in Abu Dhabi, and managed by ParkwayHealth, Danat Al Emarat was set-up as a one-stop-shop to offer patients a comprehensive range of medical services that promise to cater for the continuous needs of women and children.

The hospital has centers of excellence in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, neonatology, surgery, woman diagnostic and breast imaging, as well comprehensive outpatient services in general and internal medicine, a 24 hour walk-in clinic, laboratory and imaging. In addition, it offers mothers additional support during pregnancy, such as antenatal classes and massage to ease their pregnancy period.
