Prof. Waleed earned his M.B.B.Ch from Alexandria University, Egypt, he also completed his Master Degree (MSc, anesthesia) from the same university. He then went to earn his Medical Doctorate (Ph. D) from Alazhar University, Egypt. Dr. Waleed is a member of Arab Board of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, fellow of Perioperative Medicine , Interventional Pain and Ambulatory Anesthesia, Toronto University, Canada. He is also a member of Saudi Board and a fellow of King Saud University, KSA.
Prof. Waleed has more than 30 years of experience in interventional pain and anesthesia. He got multiple certifications in these fields from several countries. He
obtained his subspecialty training for interventional pain management from Toronto University, Canada. Prof. Waleed is one of the pioneers in the field of pregnancy-induced as well as pelvic pain. He has introduced, simplify and described new techniques for anesthesia and pain management. Prof. Waleed has several research articles focus on managing pain in different medical environments. He received several awards for the best research from many universities.
