Ms. Mariem Ben Zaied has a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy from Private Central School of Medical Sciences and Health, Tunisia. She also has several professional certificates such as ABA & PECS techniques, early intervention in speech and language pathology practice and learning disorders.
Services include early intervention for communication, voice, and speech fluency disorders as well as swallowing and feeding disorders (VFSS assessment). She specializes in voice and fluency disorders and learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography) using standardized assessments. She also provides assessments and therapies for speech and language delays and disorders in children and adults, such as apraxia of speech, dysarthria, articulation, receptive/expressive language, cleft lip and cleft palate.
Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Mariem Ben Zaied was a speech and language pathologist at United Arab Emirates treating children and adult patients with pathologies such as autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. She originally worked for Hayfa Jandoubi – Speech Therapist Cabiner (Tunis, Tunisia).
Mariem Ben Zaied is a trilingual speech therapist in Arabic, French and English with experience in different settings such as schools, rehabilitation and special education centers.
