Dr. Siddiqui obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, India, in 1993. She then underwent specialty training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Bombay, India, from 1994 till 1997 and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine – Obstetrics and Gynecology, by the University of Mumbai, India. Dr. Siddiqui was selected for higher training in the United Kingdom where she underwent postgraduate training at Health Education England, West Midlands Deanery, from 2006 till 2012. Upon completion of her training, she was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2012.

Dr. Siddiqui completed the Advanced Training Skills Module in Fetal Medicine in 2010 and the Advanced Training Skills Module in Advanced Labor Ward Practice in 2012. Additionally, she was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2006 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2019.


Dr. Siddiqui has almost 30 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Siddiqui worked at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital, Abu Dhabi, as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist and practiced as a Fetal Medicine Specialist. Prior to this, Dr. Siddiqui was the Head of the Fetal Medicine services at Royal Oldham Hospital, Manchester, United Kingdom.

Dr. Siddiqui has made significant contributions to the field of stillbirth reduction. She led the establishment and development of specialized services, including the Placenta Clinic and the “Saving Babies’ Lives” program in the North of England. These initiatives have played a pivotal role in directly reducing preventable stillbirths.

Dr. Siddiqui’s scope of practice covers 1st trimester nuchal translucency (NT) scans and early anomaly scans for high-risk pregnancies, down syndrome screening and non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT), 2nd trimester anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, invasive fetal testing including amniocentesis, cervical length screening for threatened miscarriage and preterm labor, 3rd trimester growth scans, middle cerebral doppler studies, venous doppler studies, and umbilical doppler studies in complex fetal growth problems, and twins and high order multiple pregnancies. She has extensive experience in high-risk pregnancy management including recurrent miscarriages, and maternal medical diseases affecting the pregnancy, and in providing comprehensive counseling and management options for pregnancies with fetal anomalies, working closely with the team of obstetricians, neonatologists, and other relevant specialists to facilitate the best perinatal outcomes in both normal and high-risk pregnancies.
