Education
Dr. Wetterhall graduated from the University of Gothenburg (Göteborgs Universitet), Sweden, in 2005 obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following her graduation, she pursued her medical training and further specialty training program in General Surgery at Helsingborg Hospital, Regional Skane, Sweden, from 2010 until 2015. Upon completion of her training, Dr. Wetterhall was awarded the Specialist in General Surgery (Bevis om Specialistkompetens) by the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) in Sweden.
Experience
Dr. Wetterhall has over 13 years of experience in General Surgery. Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Wetterhall worked at Ryhov County Hospital (Länssjukhuset Ryhov), Sweden, as a Consultant in General Surgery. Her scope of services include trauma surgery and critical care, laparoscopic and open cholecystectomy: laparoscopic appendectomy, and groin hernia repair and proctology: hemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal fistula, perianal abscess.
