Ms. Bawish Ejaz Ali is a HAAD/DoH-licensed Occupational Therapist who completed her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi, Pakistan in 2012.). Ms Bawish acquired a diploma in cognitive Behaviour Therapy and child psychology which is accredited by Complementary medical Association from UK. She has also completed the sensory integration certification in level (1 and 2) from USC MRS.TH.Chan Division of Occupational Sciences and Occupational therapy University of Southern California. Ms. Bawish has also completed her registered behaviour Analysis Training (RBT) from RIF USA. She is an association member of sensory integration therapist UK.
Ms. Bawish started her Occupational Therapy career in Pakistan in 2012 while working with a variety of paediatric and adult neurological, neuromuscular, psychiatric, and genetic disorders in a multidisciplinary team setup. She has 10 years of experience in UAE and has a special interest in working with paediatric neurological and cognitive rehabilitation, hence works with children with various disabilities and disorders, including Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Attention Deficit, and Hyperactive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorder, Hypotonic, coordination disorders, and other developmental disorders. With more than 10 years of her clinical experience, Ms. Bawish follows an evidence-based practice and always up to date about new therapeutic interventions and has eager interest in research and community Awareness. Ms Bawish has been involved in many researches and projects about the Awareness of Autism education, treatment and parenting skills in addition to this she always takes part in community awareness programs on mental Health by which community can benefit.
